The Linn Klimax loudspeaker range is the culmination of an intensive period of acoustic analysis and development which spanned over two years. Significant playback breakthroughs resulted from this period. The Aktiv servo bass system, 3K Driver Array, drive units and their crossovers have been extensively re-designed and improved to deliver a level of clarity and detail commensurate with Klimax. The result is pure audio perfection.

TheLinn Klimax range perfectly complements the highest performance stereo or multi-channel music and movie systems. The fully integrated Aktiv floor-stander, bookshelf and centre channel have Linn’s patented Chakra amplification cleverly housed within the cabinet for a high performance yet simple and neat solution. The requirement for fewer individual components not only makes Klimax loudspeakers more visually appealing, it is also more efficient than traditional active designs - superior in every parameter through simplicity. The Aktiv servo bass-reinforcement loudspeaker completes the range to provide full 5.1 playback. A passive variant of the floor-stander is also available for use with external power amplifiers.

The exceptional performance of the floor-standing model is further enhanced by a new stand design. The stand is plasma-cut and machined from a single piece of armour-grade steel plate to provide rock-solid stability, and echoes Glasgow’s long-established ship building roots.

Linn Klimax loudspeakers retain the elegance and outstanding build quality first introduced in the exceptional Artikulat loudspeaker range, and hailed as ‘gorgeous’. The curved, sculpted cabinets form an exceptionally rigid shell in which the drive units operate. Four real wood finishes are available - Black Ash, American Cherry, Maple or Rosenut. All loudspeakers are also available in special high gloss finish or, for the more inventive, we can create a bespoke solution especially for you which complements your living space.

The Klimax Chakra 500 Twin features Linn's proprietary audio-optimised Switch Mode Power Supply. This patented technology generates stable, low noise power rails for the audio circuitry, with higher mains noise isolation and efficiency than the very bulky and noisy conventional power supplies, to ensure all you hear is the music.

Chakra is a simple but highly innovative design, perfected by Linn through precision engineering. Linn Klimax 500 Solo - Power Amplifier

The Linn Klimax 500 Solo is a high performance single speaker power amplifier designed for use in multi-amplifier, multi-channel audio and audio/visual information and entertainment systems. Linn’s patented circuitry delivers 500W of clean, silent power with signal pitch accuracy from a cool running LP sized product less than 6cm thick, weighing less than 10 kilos.

The machined-from-solid clamshell construction of the Linn Klimax casework is a beautiful and unique design allowing a variety of options for music, home theatre and custom installation applications. Several Linn Klimax Amplifiers can be wall mounted with V-Klip brackets where space is a premium, for example with marine applications. The compact case housing the Klimax Solo screens, protects and stabilises the internal electronics forming a heat exchanger that dissipates the heat from the amplifier circuitry. Inside are two electronically and mechanically isolated circuit boards, one a new Linn Silent Power Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), the other, the unique audio circuitry providing unsurpassed performance from a compact audio component.

In keeping with Linn’s typically elegant styling, a blue LED illuminates the front panel to indicate operational status. The Linn Klimax 500 Solo Power Amplifier is available from Linn specialist retailers and custom specialists worldwide.
