The Akurate 221 from Linn is a bass reinforcement speaker that uses Linn's Aktiv Servo Bass system; this is housed within the speaker’s cabinet.

The precise motion of the drive unit is measured using an accelerometer and the movement is compared to the original input signal received, if these do not match the servo within the Akurate 221 speaker will modify the output to compensate for any differences found. This results in a clean and accurate bass performance to enhance your listening pleasure.
